Hosting
services
Access to the IBM Power Systems is provided on a free of
charge.
Educational institutions may apply to IBM or SEAL for access to the host systems. Working closely with IBM, SEAL manages and provides services on the most current systems platforms and maintains the application base allowing institutions access and customization upon request.
We also provide limited training to
both the experienced and persons new to the platform. On
site training is available and would be coordinated through
the IBM Power Systems Academic Initiative team in Rochester
MN.
Maintenance Windows:
Please take a moment to view the times where systems may
be off line for backup or maintenance. Link to Operations

What services do we offer? SEAL maintains the the environments for each institution connecting to the center. Backups are performed on a regular basis and recovery of objects is available on request to SEAL.
Help desk services are available for institution faculty, administrators and local IT support operators.

Even if you presently have a Power System running i5/OS or AIX you
